"We had our 1st fish and chips from here, mainly because we had won a voucher. The fish and chips were lovely, the curry sauce was great and tasty. The prices were great, you can choose what size fish and the same with chips, which if you dont want lots of chips you can have a smaller portion with a bigger bit of fish. The staff seemed great and happy, I came over from penryn, we'll worth the drive, will definitely be coming back"

"Fantastic find. We were in Falmouth for the weekend and fancied fish and chips. We ate in their restaurant and the food is simply superb. One of our family is a coeliac and their Gluten Free options are amazing. Great service and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended."

"Decided to eat here, based on the reviews, whilst on holiday. Could not fault the food, we had the cod and chips with battered sausage, mushy peas and curry sauce. Everything cooked to perfection, fresh flakey fish in a light crispy batter..chips were slightly crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle, mushy peas were mushy and the curry sauce was sweet and tangy..staff were friendly, food arrived quickly..highly recommend based on my experience."

"After searching for 2 days for the perfect place to enjoy some of Falmouth's best fish and chips, we finally found somewhere! And wow! The food was simply delicious! I'd highly recommend the Cod+Chips, Potato fitter, Curry sauce, and Tartar Sauce!! All reasonably priced! The whole experience was fantastic, the staff were warm and welcoming! The atmosphere there was great!! It was cozy, cute with decor to match! I think The Gem, is the perfect name, for such a perfect place. If you're around the area, you've got to pop in! Don't miss out!"

"We came in late last night and ordered four lots of cod and chips with mushy peas. The food was fantastic, crispy batter, crispy chips. The staff were really friendly. We didn’t have to wait long for our order even though it was cooked fresh to order. Really glad we decided on fish and chips for tea. We will be back."
